BRON vs Harvey AI · For litigation firms
Compare the assignment from client request to partner review.
The partner needs a notice memorandum. The email that may resolve a factual dispute is still on the client's Mac. Evaluate how each product gets from that gap to work the partner can review.
When to evaluate Harvey AI
Harvey serves boutique and mid-sized firms with research, drafting and document review. It also publishes shared client workspaces and tasks for agents and people. Ask both vendors to demonstrate the assignment your team would actually use.

For a commercial litigation team, the assignment includes getting the source, resolving questions and preparing the next step. Use those jobs to compare the two products.
Evidence, scope and limits
Plan the work
BRON: The lawyer gives Chambers an assignment and reviews a proposed plan before starting it. Desk shows manageable stages, the expected result, responsible people and supporting material. Moving between these views does not start work automatically.
Harvey: Harvey Legal Work Orchestration describes reusable task templates, assignments to agents or people, comments and notifications. Its litigation example has a lawyer review each deliverable.
Ask in the demo: Assign a notice memorandum. Show who starts the work, what the reviewer receives and how the next task is assigned.
Client work
BRON: Clients can send requested material, explain why they cannot provide it or ask a question. The assistant explains material the firm shares and directs legal questions to the lawyer. Reminders depend on deployment and firm enablement.
Harvey: Harvey Spaces gives firms and clients shared Vaults, work product and workflows. Selected guests receive scoped access without full platform access; clients can run workflows the firm shares.
Ask in the demo: Have the client open the request, ask for help and respond. Check exactly which material the client can see.
Collect files
BRON: Collector copies only the named supported sources after the person accepts the scope, and they can pause. It is an early Mac release with limited source coverage. A transfer receipt records arrival, not attorney review or a complete collection.
Harvey: Harvey Vault organizes files and email, supports document-management connections including iManage, SharePoint and Google Drive, and provides review tables. Ask how the proposed setup obtains originals from your actual custodians and devices.
Ask in the demo: Start with an email still on a client's device. Trace permission, acquisition, receipt and the firm's review in the setup you would buy.
Review the draft
BRON: BRON prepares drafts from matter material. An unconfirmed citation holds a document before sending; only a licensed attorney can release it with a recorded reason. Accepting a fact correction flags work with recorded reliance on that fact, without rewriting it.
Harvey: Vault publishes cited reports and structured review tables. Legal Work Orchestration describes research and drafting assignments with lawyer review. Evaluate the passage, its sources and the follow-up work in each product.
Ask in the demo: Keep both conflicting accounts in the draft. Add the returned email, inspect the resulting analysis and identify what still needs evidence.

BRON and Harvey overlap in parts of the work. Your decision depends on the whole assignment, the tools already in place and the result your lawyers can use. These are starting points for evaluation.
- BRON
Client requests, evidence and the next review
Evaluate one litigation assignment across the client response, accepted collection scope, reviewed evidence, drafting and Desk workflow.
Begin with a fictional demonstration. Agree a limited pilot and its supported scope before using client material.
- Harvey
Research, review and shared legal work
Evaluate its research and drafting alongside Vault, shared Spaces and assignments to agents or people.
Confirm your research coverage, connections, client access and commercial terms in the proposed package.
- Alongside your existing tools
A workflow first. A wider decision later.
Keep the systems your firm depends on while testing a specific assignment. Name the tools, transfers, owners and review steps involved.
Confirm each supported connection. A pilot is not a promise of complete replacement or automatic synchronization.
One commercial dispute
The missing email becomes part of the next review.
Was written notice of the defect given by May 4, 2025? Garcia says the supplier knew in time. Smith disagrees. Elena Rivera directs a notice memorandum and a request for the missing correspondence.
Chambers helps her frame the assignment. Desk shows its stages, expected result, responsible people and sources. She decides which work to start.
01
Ask the client
Garcia receives the request in the client portal. He can provide the material, explain a gap or ask for help. The client assistant explains shared material; legal advice comes from his lawyer.
02
Collect within the scope
Garcia accepts a Collector scope naming Apple Mail and one local folder. The email and its attachment arrive with a receipt. The meeting notes are not found in those sources. His lawyer still has to review what arrived.
03
Prepare the next decision
Alex Chen prepares the memorandum with the returned email and both deposition accounts. The email does not establish when Smith received or read it. The proposed follow-up asks for that evidence.
The email arrived. Notice is still disputed.
Garcia emailed Smith the defect report on May 2. The email does not show when Smith received or read it, so both accounts still stand.

“The first time I heard about that defect was after May 4.”

Notice of the defect
The timing of notice remains disputed. Garcia testified that he told Smith of the defect before May 4, 2025.1 Smith testified that he first learned of the defect after that date.2
Garcia emailed Smith the defect report on May 2, 2025.3 The email does not show when Smith received or read it.
Proposed request: Smith's copy of the May 2 email, its delivery records, and the review-meeting notes.

Illustration · fictional matter. Read-only product illustration. On a phone, switch between Sources and Draft.
The same notice question may later shape a settlement discussion or the order of proof at trial. BRON connects matter sources and reviewed work across that lifetime. Settlement and trial capabilities have limited availability; agree which supported steps a pilot will cover.
Evaluate BRON and Harvey
Give both demos the same assignment.
Use fictional material first. Observe the steps your team must perform, the sources a reviewer can inspect and what remains unresolved. This page reports no competitor benchmark or measured saving.
01
Specify the work
Use an agreement, conflicting testimony and missing correspondence. Ask for a notice memorandum and the next evidence request. Include the client's part in the demonstration.
02
Let the partner review
Open a factual statement and its source. Check whether the draft preserves the disagreement. Add contrary evidence and follow the work that needs another review.
03
Scope a limited pilot
Start alongside existing tools. Agree users, documents, supported workflows, review responsibilities and export needs in writing, then compare proposals on that same scope.
Know what you are evaluating.
Is BRON a Harvey AI alternative for our litigation firm?
BRON is worth evaluating for a US commercial litigation team that wants client requests, evidence and reviewed work connected on a matter. This page is written for firms of roughly 10 to 100 lawyers. Harvey also serves boutique and mid-sized firms and publishes client collaboration and agent workflows. Compare the same assignment, sources, permissions and review requirements in both products.
Has BRON been tested on live client matters?
No. BRON has not yet been tested on a live client matter. The North Harbor example is fictional, and an illustrated workflow does not establish live-matter performance. Start with a guided fictional demo. A limited pilot follows only after scope, setup, responsibilities and written terms are agreed.
Do we have to replace our existing tools?
Start alongside the tools your firm already uses. Choose one assignment and agree which documents BRON will receive, who reviews its work, what leaves the system and how you will retain it. Confirm the integrations you need during scoping. This page does not promise an automated migration from Harvey or your document-management system.
How does BRON pricing compare with Harvey?
BRON has no published rate card. Pricing and a limited pilot are scoped privately and governed by agreed written terms. We have not established a like-for-like price comparison with Harvey. Ask both vendors to quote the same users, workflows, implementation, research access, support and exit requirements.
Does BRON replace attorney review or a legal research service?
No. The lawyer directs the assignment, checks the evidence and authorities, and approves the work. Citation checking does not establish that an authority controls or remains good law. Confirm research coverage and subscriptions separately, along with the supported collection sources and the availability of later-stage workflows.
