Verify a record.

Check a filing’s source claims or a signed document’s fingerprint.

Verify a filing manifest

Drop the .manifest.json, the filing's text, and the authorities it cites. Every check runs in this browser. Nothing is uploaded. Once the evidence is loaded, the checks work offline.

Sample bundle · Miami-Dade Circuit Civil · Case No. 2025-003417-CA-01

Nothing to drop yet? Use ours.

A short excerpt from a Motion to Compel in a fictional Florida matter, its provenance manifest, and the two Supreme Court of Florida opinions it quotes, as text so the quote check can run here. One quotation in the excerpt is deliberately wrong by a single word, and the manifest says so. One cited authority was in the producer's file but never opened, and the manifest says that too.

What is in the bundle

The verifier is MIT-licensed. A recipient may run it offline, with no account and no network, against these same files; the README explains how.

This sample's digest was never committed to a timestamp ledger, so the optional timestamp check below will report that no commitment exists. That is the honest answer, and a fresh proof would be pending, not confirmed.

A timestamp shows the manifest existed at that time. It does not show that no other version exists or that nothing was left out.

What a match shows, and what it does not

A match shows the file is byte-for-byte the one the manifest recorded. It does not show that nothing was left out or withheld, or that the work is right.

After the check

What each result means.

A matching fingerprint, a checked quotation and a timestamp each show something different. Keep each finding with the question it answers.

The fingerprint matches.
The signed document is byte-for-byte the one that was sealed. That does not show that what it says is true.
Which source checks held, and which failed.
The report shows whether the manifest itself is intact, separately from the checks on the filing. A failed check points to a discrepancy. Sources you have not supplied stay unverified.
When it was recorded.
The timestamp is reported separately. It shows when the record was registered. A timestamp marked pending is not confirmed.
When there is no result.
A file that cannot be read, or a lookup that is unavailable, is neither a match nor a mismatch. Fix the input, or run the lookup again above.
